Наводящий вопрос. A leading question — это вопрос, в котором косвенно содержится ответ, иногда ведущий к невольному признанию. Самый известный leading question: «Правда ли, что вы перестали бить жену?». Любой ответ вынуждает человека признаться в избиении жены. Можно назвать таким вопросом и тот, который предполагает определённый или желаемый ответ: «На нём не было чёрного пальто?». В разговорном языке a leading question часто воспринимается как щекотливый или несправедливый:So, why did you marry her? Ah, that's a leading question. — Так почему вы женились на ней? А, это щекотливый вопрос.
